Place a little full on a Saturday afternoon. Had their core, BGW, and some seasonals on draft. Service was awesome. They offered pretzels and mustard to munch on which was a nice touch. Purchased some BGW's beers and price was decent. A nice little place to stop by if your in the area.

Maybe I just need to stop coming here on Saturdays because it is always jammed and there’s no place to sit or even stand to enjoy the beer and live music. That said, despite the masses the cheerful staff still offers samples if you’re unsure what to order from the enormous and enormously helpful blackboard, the price tops out at 4 bucks a glass and the beer is consistently delicious. Tyranena Inc. has added nice brewing capacity to the building in recent years. Next time they’re adding on, I hope they blow out one or more of the taproom walls and give more people the room they need to enjoy the expertise of this great Wisconsin brewery.

Just off I-94, and not too deep into an industrial park, this place has the look and feel of a standard taproom / brewery - in a good way. Once you enter the place, it’s warm and welcoming without being over the top. Finding seating on a Sunday afternoon during NFL playoff season wasn’t difficult (although the Packers weren’t playing). You’re definitely surrounded by midwest friendliness as the place is a pleasant blend of locals and beer adventurers - and the locals aren’t shy about chatting. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, and there was a good selection - considering they only serve their beers - their 5 regular rotation, 2 seasonal, 3 experimentals, and 2 "specialties" consisting of an Pumpkin Imp Porter, and a Wine Barrel Aged Brown. The downside was that, as far as sampling goes, they only offer two options, 3x samplers of your choosing, or a pre-selected flight of 9 (or pints of course), but with the 3x sampler package, you can’t order a second round of samples ... weird rules, but oh well, the flight of 9 has an awesome price tag ($10 for 5 oz samples!) and covers their standards, seasonal, and specialties quite nicely. I was informed that they do live music pretty regularly that sets up right in the tap room and plays ambient music so as not to disturb any conversations.

Stopped by shortly after they open at 4:30. Not too crowded. Bartender was friendly and offered samples. About 10 taps which includes 3 seasonals. Prices were fair. No food available. Didn’t sample anything poorly crafted.

Arrived right at the opening bell on a Tuesday in July. There was a handful of other folks there too, a good sign. The bartender was nice and efficient, maybe not as beer savvy as you’d expect ... correct pronunciation is a pet peeve of mine. The tasting room was clean, neat and attractive, as well as quite comfortable. There’s also a nice outdoor patio. All the beers we tried were in the average range, but all were also without technical flaw, displaying great cleanliness. Nice place. (Brewery #604)

A favorite Wisconsin brewery with easy access from I-94. In an industrial building on the east end of town. Gets quite busy some evenings, with lots of local residents. Devil over a barrel and barrel-aged imperial porter are very tasty, but cannot be purchased in a growler. Recently bought a growler of sheep shagger scotch ale for $8.50 and was very pleased. They will only fill their growlers. No food other than pretzels and brown mustard. Can bring in food.

Brewpub by itself on the edge of town. Small bar area with 15 stools and 5 pub tables, plus an outdoor patio. Going there on a music night - it was good music - meant no room. 12 taps, including a single guest, and 2 hustling tenders. It is a place with its own ambiance, and not bad, but also not the most inviting place around.

Brewpub has a quint British Pub feel to it. The staff are always willing to give you free samples if you aren’t sure what you’d want. Their selection is quite excellent, you can buy 6 packs there for a good price, and if you want a souvenir glass they are also well priced. Should I ever find myself in that neck of the woods again, I will be stopping there again!

Big production brewery with a nice little tasting room and not far off the highway. Service, selection and value were all above average. Some really tasty beers. Very cool, low key place that I’d see myself hanging out at if I lived near by.

great brewery in a state with very good breweries. A drive from Madison, and a bit of a day trip from Milwaukee. Check the hours before you go. I had no indication it was open only at 430 pm and doors locked to the very minute. A decent sized room with a bar and tables, and lots of great glasses to try or buy. Not that much of a selection but of course all very good beers. Bartenders were competent, and i was nit getting answers by these ladies to basic technical questions. Most staff concerned with the big orders, and the multi growler fills. Being allergic to dogs, the constant presence of one by staff was not helpful.
