Love this place. Smallish and cosy yet spacious. Well-patronised but far from crowded. Conversation rules as the music is non-intrusive and the TV is mute. Almost 40 taps plus one cask (Fullers London Porter on this occasion). Many are local Florida breweries, although US classics such as Sculpin are available. Some nice Belgians too: I arrived just before Christmas, and they had Delerium Tremens Noël and St Bernardus Christmas Ale on tap. 6 or 12 oz pours are available for most beers. Growlers also available for all but the strongest offerings. In my opinion this is a must-visit for the region.

What a cool place, and definitely worth the drive away from the beach or downtown. Went there for a Founders event they were having. Even though the headliner had kicked already by the time we got there, there was still more than enough to choose from. 40 taps of a complete mix of types of beers, Mostly regional. They offer sampler trays for a good price, pints and half pints. Limited snacks available, but food can be brought in, which we did with the pizza place 90 feet away. If you can’t make up your mind on a beer, they have a giant wheel #1-41 you can spin. Fun events throughout the week like movie, and vintage video game night. Only one person working during my visit, but she was very fun, knowledgeable of the beer, and the service was overall very good. Extremely impressive vintage empty bottle collection of display surrounding the store, which instantly makes any bottle collector such as myself very envious. Very good prices on very good beer. Very much impressed with this place. Would love to come back.

Pretty good sized bar with tables. Board games to play. Tons of beer bottles and other memorabilia on the walls. A lot of locals and people who knew each other were there. One bartender working, but he was very fast and nice. 40 taps and a good mix of local beer and national, international. The prices were good and samples available. Nice place to have a few beers.

I really liked this place- tiny, cozy, and definitely dedicated to beer. The walls are lined with classic and rare beers (all empty) that show the owner’s appreciation for GOOD beer, not just quantity of beer. The tap list a great, on a gigantic chalkboard that si often updated. The beers are color coded to denote the style. The bar is very long, and shaped such that patrons can hold conversations across it, really adding to the local camaraderie. A pack of kids came in with a Gamecube and plugged in some Super Smash Bros- that’s definitely a good sign in my book.

Willards is awesome, with a great beer selection, knowledgeable friendly staff and a warm inviting decor. The only issue is at times the music can be loud which is less than conducive to conversation. Still overall one of the best beer bars around.

Stopped here on the way back from the Tampa airport. This place is small inside and only focus is beer. The tapp selection is really good, they are well equipped for just about about any kind of beer drinking exerience you wsh. Very detailed beer menu all over the place. Friendly bartenders and they also have a very decent sampler, 4 for $8 and this includes the very expensive ones and the size of the samplers are large. Very pleased with this beer drinken experience. Lots of cigar city brews on tap.

Small space in the corner of a small strip mall. 40 or so well chosen taps and some bottles with an emphasis on the bigger beers, lots of hoppy options. They also had 3 meads from B. Nektar. I can definitely find something to drink here. I met one of the owners Blaine, he is a committed beer guy who does a great job. I found the service to be very good. I would definitely go back.

Small square space at the street side end of a tiny tiny strip mall. It has a healthy sized square shaped bar right in the middle of the space where the whole place has a worn in to very worn in feel and look. They do manage to cram in a lot of seats for the limited floor space. 40 taps here where a couple of them will make the geek in you happy. For instance tonight they have on 3 French Hens as well as Great Divide Espresso Oak Aged Yeti and there’s also the ever present Randals (yes plural). I also see some B. Nectar meads available too. I do get the feeling they are over-whelmed or under staffed even on a night with the place about 1/3 full. The downer I get here too, other than the slow service and slightly unfriendly vibe, is that they serve the beer far too cold which does not help their hoppy tap offerings one bit. Will anyone ever learn hoppy ales (or any ale really) are not to be served frikin’ ice cold! Turn the damn chill down and serve the lagers in chilled glassware. As I leave I notice the ambient music is just loud enough to cause conversation to be a bit strained. If I lived close to here this would easily be my main place to head for a hoppy draft brew.
