This is a part of the corporate chain, located in a fancy outdoor style mall. Lots of open space and nice views of the other retail establishments. They had lots of their own beers on tap and a few guest beers, including the Tank 7 which was very nice. Not far from the convention center stuff in Overland Park, so if you are stuck there its worth the quick trip.

Its like every other GB. Too corporate and too pricy. Their beer is all well made but never tantalizing. This place in particularly looks like a very fufu place, I hate it. Food is tasty but pricy. If I really want one of their seasonal I would go for that. If I really wanted to hang out with Leawood’s upper crust then I would go here. If I want to go out for some good beer then I would go elsewhere.

Visited within the last week. Fairly busy place, although we didnt have to wait too long for a table. Parking was a pain, you either have a tiny number pf spaces on-street or parking garage down the block, no dedicated lot. Plenty of TVs scattered around showing sports. Beers were the standard GB lineup plus the Winter Bock and a small handful of guest taps, mainly Free State and Boulevard. Pretty good service, neither overly attentive nor neglectful. Food was not too bad but incredibly overpriced, and so was the beer, which was just average in quality. Average beer + steep prices (for what you get) = not somewhere I plan to return.

Visited late afternoon on a Wednesday, and the place was hopping was an early happy hour crowd. Nice design, really melds indoor / outdoor nicely, with the bar wrapping around to both inside and patio seating. There are also several different places to eat both in and out. There were a ton of servers, all anxious to help - certainly had a feel of a place that just opened, but in a good, energetic way. Beer wise, they had the 5 regular beers on (Hefeweizen, Golden Export, Märzen, Czech Pilsner, Schwarzbier) + one seasonal (Festbier). Beers are brewed at the GB location in downtown Kansas City. They also have three Rock Bottom, two Boulder and two Boulevard beers on draft. Nice version of GB, quite close to home, I will be back a bunch I am sure.

70 = ★★½ (Locals should check it out, visitors with extended time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.
