70 Big supermarket away from the touristy area, but on top of the metro station (so easily reachable). First there are two places where you should look for beers: first the grocery store on the ground floor - it had excellent selection by Lisbon supermarket standards. The other shop is located on the top floor, it has some fancy wines and whiskeys and also fancier (and more expensive) selection of foreign craft. If you have time to visit only one supermarket in Lisboa, then this should be a top priority as it has the best beer selection in town. |

70 Large supermarket in/near/above the metro station. Went for the rumoured angola and mozambique beers, they dont offer them anymore. Selection is rather decent. also micro brews. Prices were a bit higher than i expected. |
54 Supermarket with a rather big selection of both imported and Portuguese beers, both macros and craft (about 50 diff bottles i think) Ok prices. No Angola or Mozambique beers at my visit. |
54 Big supermarket with one aisle of beers, unfortunately my only beer stop while in Lisbon. Good selection of German/Belgian beers, also Spanish and Portuguese (some Letra stuff). I was after Angola and Mozambique, but they unfortunately only had Angola when I visited. Prices seem alright. |
66 For a supermarket they have a nice selection of beers from Europe (Belgian and German Beers mainly) and a few from other countries around the world.
Macros and craft beers available all year. |
62 Some portuguese craft beer. Some belgian and german beers. Some macros from all over the world. OK |
66 Visited on a Tuesday morning. Range has improved somewhat with Letra A through to E on sale, Maldita, Sovina and other Portuguese micros plus the other macro and European offering. Scopey will be pleased to know the red T is still glowing strong.
Definitely worth a look. The Letra beers even had own shelf on an aisle end! |
54 First of all, for those who aren’t familiar, this place is huge. Its like a giant Macy’s on top of a supermarket. Took me a while to wind my way to the basement where the food was. Once there, I located the single shelf of beer. Pretty supermarket standard. A fair number of Portuguese micros, a ton of macro crap, and a decent Belgian selection. OK. |
48 Although it sells mostly Portuguese and Spanish macro brews, by Portuguese standards, it has some variety of brews of many countries. Besides the Portuguese and Spanish macro selection, we have some German macro and craft brews, some Trappist and Abbey Belgian beers and also some English macro made Ales. Recently I’ve been seeing some selection of Portuguese craft beers. Despite saying that, they really should expand their selection and provide better staff service. |
