80 Bottle shop away from touristy area, but still easily reachable with metro or 30 minutes or so walking. Big selection of local and foreign beers. No whales or too exciting stuff. No taps or drinking on the spot also.. It's definitely worth a visit if you're hunting for local cans or bottles. Prices are reasonable, service is ok. |
78 It's primarily a bottle shop, but they also have 4 taps (flights available), and some fridges with cans/bottles and a tiny area in back for drinking in. It was totally full when we visited (apparently, they take reservations), but the woman working allowed us to stand in the bottle shop at the counter and enjoy a couple of brews. Very nice bottle selection, with a good lambic selection, as well as Spanish and other stuff (very different selection than Be Hoppy). Worth a stop when in Madrid. |

88 Very nice and friendly beer shop with the option of having one in situ -some tables and stools scattered around, some fridges from where to grab a cold one.
As a shop, they do deliver to your door and, from time to time, you might also find strange old rarities clearly worth while to those in the know (i.e. I found some vintage old La Trappe batches some time ago that had been long retired.) |
