Yet another good place in town for food and beer. Good selection of both. Nice ambiance and lots of TVs for sports. Staff was very nice we blew a keg, without a replacement, and got 2/3s of a beer on the house- a nice touch should be standard operating procedure at every bar.

I like that this place got 9 ratings between Dec. 2011 and Feb. 2014, and then not one since! Been wanting to come here for a long time, finally made it. Large place, and it kinda has a sports bar feel. Ovalish bar. Not too crowded early on a Saturday evening. Two bartenders behind the bar gave friendly and efficient service. 53 taps, or, 52 for most of us. $20 one time charge gets you that 53rd tap and other benefits. The 53rd on my visit was CBS. The other 52 taps are quite good. Little macro shit, and lots of US and regional micros. I think I ticked 9 beers, and some of those breweries included Epic, Ale Asylum, Almanac, Fulton, and others. BIG knock against the place is they only allow pre-set flights. But they do freely allow samples. Food was good. Curds. Parking along Commerce St. area and there's apparrently parking under the place. But it is in a weird place. Overall, good place to pick up ticks while in MKE, and walking distance to Lakefront. I'll be back.

Good sized tap list with some quality choices available. Enough to keep you interested. Kinda sports barish with adjacent restaurant seating area. Not alot of character here. Its winter, but outdoor seating is there and would be nice during the right time of year. Did not eat. Would come back.

Great spot for brunch, followed by a couple hours of shooting pool, shooting hoops, and shooting virtual antelope on Big Buck Hunter! No complaints about the food, and quite a nice to and bottle list-- enough to keep us occupied for a couple hours while it poured rain. Incidentally, this place is an easy walk from Lakefront Brewery.

Nice old corner brick building. Got a seat, beer & food menus, then decently servered beer right away. Menus looks interesting and I’m having cider braised pork belly with scallops. Got a seat at a generic wooden table with a nice lit candle. Dining area is relatively empty, bar is about half full and noisy. Lots of TVs are on all over and bass heavy music is on. Plenty of beer signs, old wood barrels. a few upholstered benchs and booths. Warehouse style overhead. Decent draft and bottle list. Food was ok.

This was one of the first of my Milwaukee pub visits. I was thrilled to find Squatters served there since I can’t get it in Colorado. The food is typical bar food, but better than average. It’s been a few months since I was there, so I’ll have to make another stop to add more detail.

just down the street from Lakefront Brewery. solid tap list, but nothing rare. good bottle list too, including several lambics, but specialty bottles were very expensive. very small food menu, and they were out of some things. my brisket was soaked in bb sauce and not very good. service was friendly and prompt.

Been there a few times. There are tons of taps, but many are mediocre. Food is pretty good. The balcony has a nice river view and it’s a large place in general. Not bad, but in my opinion, not a "must go" place in MKE.

Stopped here after the lakefront tour and was quite impressed. 53 beers on tap including a few rare one. They had a New Holland beer dinner going on that I probably would have been at had I known about it. The prices are about what you expect and beer are $1 off during happy hour and $3 off after 10pm on Thursdays. They have samplers available though they are pre-selected for you. One night a week you could make your own sampler for $10. The place itself had a nice atmosphere with TVs scattered about and was right on the Milwaukee River. The food was solid and the service was excellent too. The tap list was decent and with 53 taps plus food, this is definitely a place worth checking out in the Milwaukee area.
