I specifically created an account on RateBeer to review Moore Liquor after reading the very unfair remarks from Bricktop86. I've been shopping at Moore Liquor for years and have found their beer knowledge to be excellent, especially Mike and Zac. They have a new girl in there who also knows her stuff. The local beer is not hidden (as Bricktop86 would have you believe), it is easy to find at the end of the "normal" beer section just before the specialty bombers and other great beer. All of the Oklahoma brews are together and easy to both see and get. Moore Liquor has a better Oklahoma beer selection than any other store in Moore. Also they just put their entire inventory online so people could see what's in store and in stock so check there if you don't believe me. As for prices, they've always had great prices on beer and everything else. One of my friends who works at a store in Norman told me that Coop had raised their prices by more than a dollar a six pack in June and then went up again in July. He said that every Oklahoma brewery except Prairie had done it over the past month or so. I only gave Moore Liquor a "4" on ambiance because it's not always the cleanest place. They got a "10" on selection because I've been to other stores that really carry a lot more out-of-state craft beer variety, like Biergarten in Jenks. I just hate it when someone has an obvious personal ax to grind and anonymously uses the internet to shit on a good local business. I highly and happily recommend Moore Liquor. Go there and you won't be disappointed!

I have to update my review. This place should be avoided now. They hide the local beer at the back of the beer section because the owner was fighting with the local brewers over a changing state liquor laws. They have been raising their prices recently and blaming it on the distributors even though all the other stores I have been to have kept prices the same.

A pretty standard liquor store spot with pretty cluttered shelving. Service was standard liquor store fair. Solid selection that was a bit disorganized. Prices seemed a bit high. Better then average selection but that was about all that stood out here.

Seemed like a nice place to visit, but the selection was very small. Prices were decent. Staff was friendly. Wish I could have given a higher rating.

Most knowledgable staff and they create a fun atmosphere in a run-down strip mall. They recently nearly doubled their beer selections, so I go out of my way to go there. And they always have a funny saying on their sign out front, makes it worth the trip.

Located between Santa Fe Ave. and Telephone Rd. on 4th St., Moore Liquor is a pretty nice place in an older strip mall that needs some remodeling. It’s a fairly large liquor store with a relatively small beer section. Although the beer section is "compact", they have a pretty nice selection of brew. They also have a good selection of singles. Service is great. Friendly staff, and the owner knows his beer. Oklahoma is known for skunky beer in its liquor stores, but have only run into this once. (Left Hand Milk Stout) If they don’t have it, they’ll order it. I have also found that are much cheaper than anyone else in Moore or Norman, and even cheaper than Byron’s on a few things. Very fun place. Would highly recommend.
