Retired here at Ratebeer, but it do still excist. Althoug no beers are made there anymore. I can not recomend it either, because they have only lager beers... Complete decay!

Brewpub. First of all, it is surprising that good brews here are cheaper than shitty brews at the supermarket. The beers are varying in quality, but generally high. Didn’t try the food. Limited view of the actual brewery.

Okay brewpub with 5 own beers on (4 of them decent) when we visited early January, but the beers are not of the trailblazing kind, though. Their Vinterøl (winter ale) was the best one. Food was okay. Friendly waitress.

I kinda like the atmosphere, a rather modern pub with a beautiful terrace by the water cascades. Inside, rather damp and minimalist decoration gives it a warm basement feel. I could not find myself particularly impressed with the beers, I made quite a detour to get to that place and it was one of my most anticipated Norway visits. Just clean and straightorward standard stuff. It was understaffed when I was there too. The only waitress was doing her best and smiling all they way, so I can’t give a poor mark, but they would have needed another one.

Very nice, modern place that’s modern and stylish without being sterile. The music is OK and not too noisy, which is often a problem in Norway. The food is good single-dish dinners and snacks, and the service is fine. The beer is much improved after the new brewer took over and is now really good. They had five own brews on tap when I was there. If you visit while the brewer is working and introduce yourself as interested in beer he’s likely to give you a little tour and some tasting treats.

One of the top five beer spots in Norway. They have a new brewer that knows his stuff, and he plans to have changing beers on all the time in addition to a few regular lagers. The staff are very ahppy to serve good beers, too. Give it a try if you are passing by - and its less than an hour from Oslo, too!

Was there in July this Summer. The staff now nothing about their own beer, that´s was disepointing, for the brew was nice, food was nice to. But the service was not the best.Friendly but that was all.

As so many other places, the staff usually don’t know nothing about beer, not even of their own. They were friendly enough to show the brewery though. Nice "pub-food". Some bottled lager available as well.
