Probably my favorite place in Charleston. If you want a casual place with exceptional taplist, good price list, great food and prices with an interesting atmosphere cantilevered over a pond with big rollup windows. They get surprisingly rare beers on tap. Most recently they had Foothills Sexual chocalte for $4 for 10 oz. Westbrook one offs show up too. Mondays are $3 all beers. Great happy hour. The wood fired wings are epic. Oh yeah and its the local Seattle Seahawks bar!
Visited here in late December ’15 while in the area for vacation for Happy Hour. The place is huge, several rooms and bar areas, patio outside as well. Very dark inside, lots of wood with a pub-like feel to it. Pretty solid tap list with lots of local choices. Have about four Liberty beers on tap and they are priced lower at Happy Hour. Typical pub grub food, service was prompt and friendly.

Ok draft selection, although it’s rare to find anything that I haven’t already had. Food is solid. Comes across as a restaurant first and foremost, with an above average beer list.
The food is typically always good at Liberty’s and the service has been up to snuff the handful of times I have been there. They have a rotating selection of craft beers along with the standard fair; they normally have a couple of good small batch bourbons as well (Basil Hayden, etc).
The feel is a laid back and spread out; you can hang in the bar, sit on the backporch by the pond, or in the dinning room.
This is probably the nicest Liberty location I have visited. It’s new, clean and very open with a comfortable ambiance. We sat at the large bar and had a great bartender. There is a good selection of beer available with offerings from Stone, Bear Republic, Bells and a few other desirables. Of course the Liberty lineup is available here which is brewed off site like the other Liberty Tap Rooms, not to be confused with the Liberty Steakhouse and Breweries.
