A normal Newark college bar. Their taps are a little better than other bars. They have more than just macros but its just the normal craft stuff you can get anywhere. Normal pub food. Turns into a college dance party at night.

This pub-style restaurant and bar just opened in Newark, DE, where Shaggy’s used to be, upstairs from Grotto’s pizza and across from Brew-ha-ha. From a beer perspective, I’m happy for the change. This place does not have any rare beers, but it certainly has a very large number of beers on tap, including many that you cannot find on tap nearby. Hands down, it has the largest selection of taps in town. Some of these are macros, but they do have a number of the more well-known regional beers, including things that can be hard to find on tap anywhere, and I was happy to find the local up-and-coming Twin Lakes, which in my opinion is a top-notch brewery (and only available in local bars and restaurants: no brewpub). The atmosphere in here is very dark, but and fairly diverse: you can sit on the outdoor patio, and there are a number of different types of seating areas inside, including cozy booths, big tables in interior areas, and little tables near the windows. The music is loud but not unpleasant,
