PCH Coast Sports Bar and Grill

Cleanest beer in town. 20 handles and they change daily. Only bar in North County where I have consistently seen Pliny the elder and the first place to try Pliny the younger. The young guy running the kitchen is oozing with talent. Menu / secret menu are amazing and have daily food/beer specials. The wait staff seems to know everyone’s name giving this bar a real neighborhood feel. Great beer, great food, and great service.

Driven by this place a millions times and finally went in . . . nice place! Nothing spectacular on tap but plenty of solid beers (multiple Stone including 14th anniv.) and a really nice, local feel. The rub, however, is that the beers on tap often seem past prime. They’re trying but I cannot forgive serving Blind Pig that must be at least 2+ months old. Let’s hope business picks up and they can either get fresher kegs or turn ’em over quicker.
