90 A wonderful hole-in-the wall gritty old bar. Thanks to my sister for the tip off on this one. Beer selection is great. Food is excellent and very reasonable. Anyone nearby should check this place out! I like that they give you a "road map" with the beer selection as a place mat. it’s often hard to choose with the enormous beer selection. August 2017 Update: Very Sad to learn that this place has closed! |
82 Kind of a gritty blue collar feel to the place, but with an impreesive amount of beers on tap (84 according to the very pleasant server). Some of the beeers on tap were macros, but there were still many good craft beers to choose from. Strangely enough they did not have an up-to-date draft list which made selection a bid of a challenge. I did not try the food. Pretty cool spot. |
84 Good pub! I enjoyed the fish & chips and their complimentary soup they had for lunch. Pretty standard pub atmosphere & grub, and had quite a few taps (although many were taken up by the macros). The best part was the service - super friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go here again. |
76 Had a good time with the family. The food is average pub fare, but they have a lot of beer selections. |
74 Lots of beer selections, but also alot of stuff that has no business on the menu. Food is average pub food, but the dumplings are bomb. I’d like to see the list half the size with a larger selection of bombers, personally. |
76 Another good Doherty’s location, somewhat smaller than the Warwick location with a similar beer selection. Good service. We did not eat here but the menu looked promising, and if it is anything like the other location, the food is quite good. |
90 First impressions aren’t always true. Not much to look at from outside but once in, quite different. Lot bigger than it looks, good bar area, great selection, really tastey food, friendly and knowledgeable bartenders, what’s not to like? Great stop after a PawSox game, couple minutes away from McCoy. Try this place. |
86 I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Stop in on a busy Saturday night after the R.I. Brewfest. The food was above average and the beer selection is really exceptional. I counted the taps, they are now at 82. So I had to stick with the local selections. They offer flights at a reasonable price. Our bartender was friendly and knew his beer. When he heard we traveled here from NH, he offered some nice samples at no charge. If you are traveling through Pawtucket R. I. , you should make it a priority to stop here |
90 Large place. Terrific food, with a million variations on wings, sandwiches, etc. the burger was fantastic. Food comes with tasty and free soup. Draft list is massive, bottle list is smaller but solid. Worth the seven minute drive from Providence. |
92 I love that I have such a nice little gem here in Pawtucket. |
