58 Kind of an weird/interesting place - like a ghetto version of Sam’s Club/Costco. Didn’t walk around the rest of "the club" but they did seem to have a pretty big alcohol section, beer, wine, and spirits. Beer selection was OK, slightly above average I guess. They did have a small build your own 6 pack section. Prices seemed pretty fair. Not bad if you are in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. |
76 A nice selection stuck in a long row besides all the wine. Out of the way in downtown peoria but no big deal. A good amount of beer featuring a lot of different breweries but not a ton of beers from each brewery. Not to sure how well they handle and store their beer but Im sure it isn’t any worse than some places. |
64 Good selection of American Micros and imports. Was happy to see Three Floyds Alpha King. Staff was more knowlegable about wines than beer. However, were very customer-friendly |
72 Color me surprised. Hadn’t been in UFS for quite some time, but I was lured in by a print add offering 12 packs of Celebration Ale @ $11.99. Much to my delight, they’ve *dramatically* expanded their selection of beer, wine and spirits since my last visit. Spent $200 on a significant stash of the aforementioned Celebration Ale, as well as a variety of craft ales, Belgians, wine, and spirits. Hey, it’s the holidays! Good cross-section of American craft beers, decent selection of European/Belgian brewers, wines ranging from $2-100/bottle, and a good selection of spirits, from the mundane to the sublime. Staff was helpful and pleasant. A great find! |
