We came here on 27.4.2019. 10 minutes Uber ride from the center. Nice beer bar with a few outside tables. Around 15 beers on tap, mainly from regional breweries. We had the Hazy IPA from Love City. A neighborhood bar, you wish to have next tp your home.

Pretty cool spot just south of downtown. 17 taps on when I visited. No flights and not even small pours except for a few select brews available in 10 oz pours. Luckily, they have a half-price happy hour between 5 and 7pm from M-F, so you can get $3 beers - pretty sweet. Taplist wasn’t overly special though. Worth a trip on happy hour.

Nice beer bar in south Philly. Solid beer selection with nice friendly staff. Outdoor seating when weather permits. Didn’t try the food, but smelled good.

I stopped by on Sunday afternoon for a couple of quiet beers. There was a lively crowd here with a good local vibe. Interesting tap list and I was pleased to see at least six beers on tap that I didn’t find elsewhere. Hearty pub grub available. Friendly and attentive staff. Music was 80’s cheesy :-/

Visited 04/03/15. Nice, airy bar in a good location in south Philly. I visited on a Friday evening and didn’t find it busy. My party sat at the bar and received prompt, friendly service. The tap list was interesting, with plenty of stuff available that I didn’t find anywhere else in Philly that weekend. 4 Hands must’ve recently had an event there, since a number of their limited offerings were on tap. Stuff like Grapefruit Sculpin was also offered alongside some locals from Yards etc. Set flights were available, as were small pours for tickers. Prices were OK. Overall, definitely worth checking out.

Visited May 31, 2014.

Second beer stop of the day. This was right after eating both Geno’s and Pat’s side by side. So feeling greasy and fat I decided to try some local ticks at a new place. Turns out it’s a pretty nice place. Sitting outside on the sidewalk (with an umbrella granted) seemed like a good idea at the time but then the clouds parted and the sun came beating down. Ugh. At least the beer was decent. Oh wait, no it wasn’t. Actually it wasn’t terrible but it was a let down. I’m referring to Perennial’s La Boheme. Vinegary and oaky without much else besides a little fruit. Meh. The service was friendly. The building is nice inside though a bit confusing. Was this a house at one point?

If/when I get back to Philadelphia I’ll stop back in because I’ll most likely head over to Geno’s.

Decent place in the south of Philly, though a little bit of a hike. Has lots of good local stuff on tap, though I’m not sure this was just because of Beer Week tap features. Taster flights are good deals, though they are usually set on themes for $10. You can also get half pints of some pours. Has a few patio seats outside good for summer.

Well worth the slight detour to come here. Glad we did it mid afternoon when it was not busy as I imagine it will pack out in the evening. Good service, excellent choice and quality. A bit young trendy vibe but I still recommend a visit.

Went here for brunch on a Sunday. The food was outstanding and the draft selection was pretty remarkable due to the barrel aged beer event the night before. The bottle selection was also pretty extensive but I was a little disappointed that they had none of the central waters brews as advertised. Other than that, the ambiance was great with jazz music playing and lots of trendy people coming and going. It’s a pretty superior bar.

Popped into the Devils Den on a summer ’11 visit to Philly. Tap selection was reasonable and I sourced a couple of local (ish) craft brewers, Stoudts and Troegs amongst them. The Devils Den holds an impressive bottled list and one thing (being from the UK) I always compare is the cost of imported bottles from our shores. Brew Dog Hardcore IPA was available for $6, not a bad price in my opinion. My Philly based friends said the place was dead on the night we visited, the Phillies were on TV but apparently due to college having finished business was quiet, but this didnt detract from the atmosphere! I’ll definately seek out the Devils Den again on my next visit to Philly.
