Stopped in to check the place out after a trip home from HOTB. The guy behind the counter tried to help me find what I was looking for after a little wait but he had no clue what he had in stock. Nice little place but not worth a long trip.

OK, so I have wanted to stop by this place for a while. This is a beer distributor that sells cases, a bar, a restauraunt and a bottle shop all built into one. Did have a decent selection of all the popular micros cold and warm. Good selection of a few taps at the bar. At first I was startled at the prices of the singles but the girls told me they were 25% off with take out so i bought a couple. Didn’t have any food.

Convienient to get to (right off Rt 28). Smaller than average, small bar area. Food is pretty good. Service is usually good also. Great beers are always being rotated. I would say about 20-30 beers on tap. Single bottles to go. Case shop out back. I’ve seen some good live music hear also. Would recommend this for sure.

Unassuming little joint, but what a nice selection both on tap and in bottles. Wings were tasty, and the beers I had while here (you can get small pours, great for rating) were fresh. You can build your own six packs, but they are a little pricy - of course, it’s Allegheny Co., so no real surprise there. I’d definitely go back.

The selection is well above average. There are a lot of microbrews available in the bottle shop. It is about 1/2 the size/selection of Headkeepers in Greensburg. The food is fairly good. I have sampled most of their burgers. The tap selection is at about 20 beers. Their signs are very funny describing their drafts. The service is very good. Their staff does seem to have an average knowledge about their beers, but I have had a hard time discussing products outside of their collection. The distributor around back has reasonable prices. The bottle shop is a bit pricey. They are expanding the bottle shop, so the restaurant may not feel as crowded on a weekend.

Swung by on my way back to Rochester. Great selection of both cases and bottles in the dining area. Great mix of cold and warm singles, with the option to drink them there. Some beers on tap that I was shocked to see, including Kasteel Rouge. I picked up a large selection of stuff, including some good Terrapin, Tommyknocker, Ithaca stuff I can’t get in Upstate NY oddly enough, and the last bottle of Life & Limb. Next time I’m in town, I’m heading back to sample the food and hit the taps.

Love, love, love this place! It is just what beer drinkers have been looking for on this side of town. I have driven considerably out of my way to enjoy a decent beer selection, but not any more! I am thrilled to have such an awesome place in my back yard (O’Hara Twp). The place is clean, comfortable and there is something for everyone. Food, music, TVs and every BEER you could ever want to try! I love the mix and match take out. And the prices are amazing whether you are hanging out there for a while or taking something home!

Really cool concept - mix-n-match, UNREAL crafts, beer school nights, really good burgers with home cut fries, chocolate covered bacon AND a beer distributor right next door to get a case for home! Going back for the selection, clean place, educated staff and the Steelers games!!

This place just opened not long ago, and I went in with a buddy to check it out. The beer selection is excellent, especially for western Pennsylvania. Just as importantly, the prices were out of this world; easily the cheapest I’ve seen anywhere. The employees were friendly, helpful, and eager to talk beer. The environment was well-lit, clean, kid-friendly, and inviting. While I haven’t tried the food yet, it looked like a nice melange of standard pub fare. Overall, a great place to visit, drink at, and take some beers for the road in the Pittsburgh area. Addendum: I have gone back since my initial rating. Unfortunately, they have added a dollar to all beers consumed on premise, which really ruins the value. In my opinion, a terrible idea for a place trying to keep people in the bottle shop area.
