Pretty cool place. Has really five or so locations. A cool old movie theater, a cigar bar, a pool hall and a restaurant. Basic McMenamins food, a few special additions actually, a solid tap list of about 10 beers. Great service.

Very interesting atmosphere, very unique- dream-Baroque funkiness. Good beer too

typical mcmenamins ambiance. 4-5 core beers on top with 2 seasonals / specials. but these guys haven’t kept up with how the beer scene has evolved in portland so the whole deal comes off as dull and pedestrian, which goes for their beer as well.

Went here on a date with the girlfriend. Actually, we went to this place on our first date. She even planned it, I’m assuming because she knew I liked beer. A real keeper she is. The place is on a nice piece of property. There’s a hotel, theater, restaurant, bar, etc. Nice layout, but this place isn’t the best beer destination in the world. Seriously, take a date here. Don’t go with your buddies expecting some amazing beer quest. I had a Bagdad beer, which was decent. The service was great, and the salad was nice, as well. Overall, I had a most amazing experience here. The woman definitely made it that, but in terms of a beer destination, it’s decent.

This place is too large and complex to figure out and evaluate on one visit. There is the resturant, bar, theater, back stage bar etc... The building itself is beautiful and historic. Great paintings and accents make it feel fun. The theater is a cool place to see a random movie or occasional band. The back bar looks like a hoot too. The usual McMenamins beer suspects are here as well as a seasonal or two. They are also a bit pricey but comparable to other close establishments.

Great old theater, standard Mcmenamins food and brews. The movies are usually about three dollars and they show some great old movies but mostly second runnings. Nothing better then sipping on a brew and watching Evil Dead.

Overall, it’s your standard McMenamin’s. But the movie theater is great. Cool aesthetics, and very cool to drink a brew while watching "Big Fish".

A pub with an adjacent movie theater. Food is your basic McMenamin’s, as is the beer.
