Much better than the rogue up the street! Sure it’s mcmenamins but they’d God a good variety on tap plus the tasty eats. And it’s not stupidly priced like rogue.

Cool little location near PSU. Decent service. Sort of a coffee shop vibe in here. A long bar, tables. Outdoor seating on sunny days. Gotta love Matt’s review! Haha. Typical beer.

Nice Atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. Beers were decent but not very impressive, and a few not in the best condition I would guess. OK.

Typical Mcmenamin’s pub, this time near a college campus. This was a quiet rainy afternoon. Usual Mcmenamin’s pub food, with a couple dishes not offered elsewhere. Service was brusque but acceptable. My guess is that they’re used to students who don’t tip. Mcmenamin’s brews, including an Imp Stout I haven’t had before. An verage place. It’s a little reminiscent of a little pub near Cape Town University.

Let me tell you my story of this place... It’s a Saturday night (10:30 or so). We walk in and the place isn’t that busy, about 5 booths available and they just needed to be bussed. When you walk in you stand in a narrow passage, about 6 feet from a wall on one side and booths on the other. There’s a sign that said please wait to be seated. There’s one bartender, and three servers, all walking by and making eye contact with us but never greeting us or saying to please wait. So we wait, and wait... even some girls in out party use their restroom, and we are still waiting. It’s all about more than ten minutes so we just sit at the closest empty booth. One of the waitresses walks over and starts yelling at as because the sign says please wait to be seated and pulls the sign in front of our faces. So we got up, told her how wrong they were and left.
