Great Experience. The 2 guys helped us find exactly what we were looking for, had suggestions on local beer. Would definitely recommend and return.

Beer seems to not be the focus here. A couple hundred varieties, most only available by the case/six pack. Service seemed indifferent, and the singles selection was a strange variety of expired oddities and a few local beers. I didn’t visit any other local bottle shops, but this can’t be the best in town, right?

There is no chance this place has 900 different beers. I would guess around three hundred different beers. Different selections than other bottle shops I visited in town, but not that many beers. Even the selections they had, many were not out as singles. Some nice selections, but nothing close to being rare. Prices seemed going rate. Service was pretty good. Hoped for a better selection, especially based on the rating.

Nice selection, helpful staff, but a little pricey. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Pretty impressive place. Half the store’s devoted to wine, the other half to beer. Nice selection of root beer too. The selection’s pretty well-curated. There’s a solid representation from Belgium. Virginian breweries get a decent amount of shelf space alongside the craft big boys. Prices were average, service was non-existent. Good spot.

Visited on an early Sunday afternoon. Nice selection, but nothing special compared to other shops in Virginia. Was a bit overhyped to me. Didn’t really interact with any staff other than at the register. Fair prices, comparable to other similar shops. Lots of Virginia breweries represented though, one of the best VA selections I’ve seen.

Pretty good selection, including some things I havent seen elsewhere in Virginia, such as Perennial. Very few of the bottles, even the IPA’s are in the fridge however. Prices don’t seem that bad compared to what I am used to paying. All in all a pretty good place that I plan to return to.

As you can deduce from the title wine is the main thing here and takes up the majority of the floor space. They have 12-14 coolers full of six packs and an aisle of local, national, and international craft. I didn’t get the musty smell that Magsinva got but I did notice a few of the bottles were past their sell-by date which often happens at mom and pop shops like this. I did like the food truck sitting in the parking lot. That’s a neat touch. But the biggest concern I have is the pricing. Though they had. A few bottles I hadn’t seen before the prices were high even compared to DC. It’s a very good bottle shop and the staff seemed friendly but I don’t think it’s the best in the state.

Very crowded wine store with a corner for beer. Not very well organized, though if you can find them, they do have some stuff I haven’t seen elsewhere. Stock rotation isn’t that great because some bottles are dusty and they still have Winter seasonals at the end of May! There was also a musty smell to the store that was offputting. They have some cheese and candy from around the world which is cool, though I’d check the sale by dates before buying. Location is in the middle of a neighborhood, hard for out of towners to find without a GPS.
