Great selection of international beers from weird countries and American craft beers. They let you buy singles of almost everything. It is a big store full of fun stuff, quite a bit of it cold, as well as some glasses and other beer related stuff. Great stop if you are in the area.

The place I would dream to have close to home. The selection is just amazing, there is just so much stuff I would want to buy. Beers are sorted by country, and there are a few vintages reasonably priced.

It’s a supermarket that sells nothing but beer. Well and homebrew equipment, proper glassware, books on beer, and lots of kegs. They have a ton of micro and craft beers here from all over the world. The prices were very reasonable as well. It was a real challenge not buying literally everything I wanted. Definitely worth it if you’re in the area.

8/29/2009 I stopped in here a few weeks back while on vacation with the family. All i can say is WOW! This store is huge, I spent over an hour just walking up and down the isles before looking for a cart to haul some things back to the car. The store is divided into many isles which in the front of the store are separated by country. The entire left wall of the store is beer from Germany. Deeper into the store are the brews from the USA. Deep left there is a huge cooler, front left is an isle devoted to glassware and a homebrew supply section. I’m sot sure if this is the case, but I would say that if you can buy it in NY you can get it here. I wasn’t hassled by any employees while I was looking, but some other people had some questions which were handled well by the staff. Everything is priced, you can mix a six pack or buy singles. I never made it to Wegmans, but some of the prices did seem a little high, but I don’t shop in NY often so its hard for me to tell. Great beer store, one of the best I’ve been to!

A very thorough selection of US and world beers. Depending on when you show up there is usually one or two interesting things (BCVS, HOTD Adam) that can’t be found just off the shelf. Website gives a fairly good idea of what is in stock but its worthwhile to send them an email and make sure they have it - in my experience they are more then willing to set it aside. A great place for Canadians for one stop shopping that is close to the outlets (relatively).

I used to really like this place, but since we have better stores closer, I rarely go. Belgian selection is severely lacking, considering they have several isles of american micros and a large german selection. a lot of bottles look like they’ve been on the shelf for way too long, and are covered in dust. Good store for Americans micros though if that’s your thing.

Went to the location down the road in Henrietta. Nice selection organized by country. Make your own six packs. Seems a little more open than the Winston St location. Both are fine places to spend a hour. Great selection!

Only complaint is it seems a little too pricey, but the selection is the largest without doubt I have seen in 1 store, very impressive, think we spent over an hour just looking then at least 30 more mins picking our beers, good fun.

The undisputed best beer store in upstate New York. It’s a grocery store of beer with aisles and coolers that stretch the store with bottles and cans. I can’t speak to all the specialty one-off brews but for anything else - if it’s available for sale in New York state, they’ve got it here.

This is a mecca for craft beer lovers living in upstate NY. The selection is unparalleled. This is literally a supermarket sized store that only carries beer. Beers are organized by country. The US macro selection is quite impressive as is the German section. You can get email updates as to which new beers just came in. They also list their entire stock on their website. The only thing is that they often put the old or expired beers on sale, which is not necessarily a bad thing if you are looking for beers that you are going to cellar. If you are ever near the Rochester, NY area this is a must stop. Be prepare to drop $100-$200 though.
