Handy bar if in the area. Own beers (Nide brewed by Bairds and Brimmer) with one on handpull. Reasonable local selection supplemented by US brews and Brewdog. Quite pricey but goes with the locality I suppose.
Nice enough venue serving a range of Japanese and international craft brews. Compared to other Tokyo venues I visited the prices were excellent during the extended week night happy hour. A good option if in the area.
I wasn’t convinced by this place but I guess it’s all about what you are looking for. If you want to drink mainly American beers with a whole bunch of Americans and be served by American expats whilst in Tokyo, then this is the bar to you, if you are looking for a more authenic Japanese craft beer experience I would look elsewhere
Came here after Craft Heads, was a bit underwhelmed. They do have lots of taps, split between imports and Japanese micros. Some more interesting than the others. Somehow I preferred the atmosphere in CH. On the other hand I was pretty pissed when I came in so maybe my perception wasn’t the best. Certainly worth checking out.
Trendy bar in Shibuya area, 5 minutes from the famous crossing. There is a big bar and plenty of tables and seats. Selection is fair and service is ok, it was a bit loud. Beers are the normal Tokyo price, so have your wallet ready. In my opinion, beers were served too fast (less than a minute) after ordering, not letting it pose and be in perfect serving condition.
Very easy to find as you can make the place out if you are standing in front of H&M. Often populated most nights of the week.
Range is pretty good, the menu gives a good level of information for the beers on tap.
So you can definitely track down a beer you will like. The set up is clean and professional. It’s been pretty busy most times I’ve been and have had minimal conversation with the staff so cant really comment on their knowledge, but the menu and selection speaks for itself.
It is a good safe bet.
