Strange place just a couple of meters away from the very crowded pedestrian street. This place wasn’t crowded at all during my visit (Friday afternoon), but felt more sad and deserted. But a good selection of beer to very nice prices made it a fairly pleasant stay. Worth dropping by.
Good pub off of Pilies Street in Vilnius. A selection of ten ales on draft, plus a few intriguing bottles. It has the feel of drinking in someone’s front room, which is a bit of a relief after the cramped conditions of excellent but minuscule bars such as Špunka and Baras Šuo. However this bar is lacking that special something. Although I enjoyed myself here it’s definitely on my B-list.
As rustic as they come, off the fancy main street and into what might have been a garage or a warehouse. A dozen beer on tap, and you can buy them to take out if you fancy. Mead and gira, too. Helpful service.

Good selection of local beer. Prices are incredibly low. Standard interior. Not much space. Toilet is located outside the bar, which is quite annoying given cold Lithuanian nights, and is tragic, even for pub standards. Could be better, but worth visiting.
Best bar in Vilnius!!! I drink beer in 4 Vilnius’s bars, but all of them haven’t goog beer and atmopshere. One day i going on Pilias st. and found "Vilniaus Alus". That bar including all best thing for me: In centre, many tapes of beer, very good personal, very cheap prices (about 5 lit for a cup), big numbers of sit, many people in. Sry for my english)
A nice little cozy beer bar in central Vilnius. Prime location but easy to miss because the bar is located in a small alley. Not a big bar to start with plus it is divided in a few rooms so it makes for an intimate cozy atmosphere. I didn’t try food, don’t know if they have any. I believe this is bar is owned by Vilniaus so obviously Vilniiaus beers is what you will find there. When I visited this place I had been in Lithuania for more than a week and visited many beer bars and breweries, I still found some new ticks on tap there, so I’d say it is really worth visiting.
This was my best experience in Vilnius. Tried to go back a second time but it was closed. The beers were all in top condition--a rarity. The young guy behind the bar was friendly and gave us some decent advice--also rare. Perhaps not as many beers to choose from as some other places, but many were very good.
Nice, alternative bar spread over a couple of small rooms. The bar itself appears to be designed to resemble an outdoor beer stall. Serves both beers from Vilniaus Alus and other traditional brewers. The owner appears to speak no English. The place is sort of hidden in a back alley, so you need to spot the silly sign in the street to find it.
