Came by here for a quick lunch and a beer from the hotel across the street. Looks like the place is trying to be somewhere between a diner, a coffee shop, and a bar. Beer selection is small, but there were a couple of DMV beers on, so out of towners can probably hit a new tick or two. Good amount of outdoor seating, and just a few steps from the metro, hotels, and Connecticut, so even though it is not a destination spot, there’s a bunch of good reasons to be near by.

Nice, open place. Cool vibe on a nice day. Solid food, big portions, decent prices. Beers a little pricy, and small selection, but some good rotating options. Server was very thoughtful. Overall a nice place to have dinner and a beer.

Had a few meals here during a stay in Jun 2015. Crowded restaurant with decent food and friendly albeit harried service. Eclectic crowd, from locals to families and business/convention folk from nearby hotels. About half mile walk from the zoo. Not much of a beer selection, but OK.

This restaurant (not sure if I’d call it a bar) is in a nice, seemingly older building, complete with tin ceiling and ornate columns; an attractive space. Beers on draft are listed on a chalkboard behind the bar, with at least two or so local brews. Service was prompt, and friendly enough, and answered my basic questions about their beer. Selection included a small, unremarkable bottle/can list with a mix of drafts, some local. Food was good; my vegetarian sandwich and chili were solid, my wife’s salmon/bagel sandwich was quite tasty. The prices on food were pretty good; drafts seemed high to me (6 bucks for a local brew?) but maybe that’s typical in this town, so no big downgrade unless I notice otherwise. A good spot, but not a stand-alone destination. Nice for our family dinner and limited selection of local beer.

This place does have a rather long marble top bar and six craft beers on draft, one brewed in DC, four others regionals, and od man out, Palm. Lines were long but moved quickly at 8 AM on a Saturday, but I btpassed the line and the yuppies and sat at the bar. Food was OK, service was OK.

Not even a real bar. Please walk down the street to Adams Morgan or even go across the street to a Lebanese place and at least have a Taj Mahal!

Not sure I’d have put this in the RateBeer system, but they do have good beers (not a big list, but quality). The food is very good (especially the breakfast which always has a line/wait).
