62 Only ever been here during the day but love the view over the ocean. Food is good pub standard. Beers have stayed consistent over the years. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It’s in the middle of town next to the football ground, beach and entertainment centre, could go mad some nights. |
64 When we arrived, there were many guest taps. This made our tasting round more fun than it would have been otherwise. The house beers are decent, and well-hopped in general. Worth a stop if in the area, as it is likely the only beer place in Wollongong. Atmospherically it's not much (standard impersonal big corporate) but service is very good. |
76 Nice location, down by the water right in the gong. Would’ve been better if the sun was out. Really nice on the deck. $4 for a half pint isn’t great, but not as bad as other places. Beers are average though, nothing too special but there is always a range. |
46 Pleasant location for a bar of it’s size, looking out onto the water, staff were friendly and plentiful. Did not eat, so I cannot comment. Beers however, though of varying styles (8) weren’t the best. One of their products (Longboard Pale) was unavailble and several of them; upon tasting, showcased some unpleasant characteristics such as yeasty and metallic off flavours. Most people who visit the bar after a game at WIN stadium or a show at the WEC would be happy with the brewpub. However, if you’re looking forward to discovering some exceptional beers on tap, i doubt this is the place for it. |
