80 LIke others have mentioned, this is mostly wine.... but I actually prefer it to K&L down the street. Definitely has a home-y vibe and even though the beer section isn’t huge (about 1 aisle and 1 cooler against the wall), you feel cozy camping out here for a little while. Staff is helpful but not too intrusive. |
80 I didnt realize that this place was in the database. Cool place and nice people. It’s been owned by the same family since sometime in the 1800s. They focus mainly on wine (which they have a lot of) but they also have several aisles of beer (including some 6 packs of Bigfoot if anyone wants to stock up) and a number of fridge doors. Prices are pretty reasonable on the beer, though I can’t comment on the wine prices. I think that K&L right down the street has a more eclectic collection but these guys have more stuff and better prices. |
84 I like this place. Friendly and helpful. I found a beer half the price of other stores. They have a bargin shelf. |
72 Stopped in on my way between Willows Market and K&L. Honestly not expecting much. The space is huge, mostly devoted to wine, but their beer selection is not bat at all. Prices a bit better than Willows, not as good as K&L for the most part. Definitely a place to check out if you are in the area. |
72 Nice selection and at the prices you’d expect. Wish they had more beers in the fridge and fewer out on the floor, and that they expanded a little more in the way of American craft 6 packs, but not a bad worldwide selection |
76 Has most everything I need.

64 Yeah, this is definitely a wine store. BUT, they have great ambience and a pretty good beer isle. I found a few beers that I had not seen anywhere. Not a lot of American micro’s, but a decent import collection. I’ll definitely hit them up again to see if they add new ones. |
66 I can’t believe I have NOT yet rated this place. They are first, second and third most a wine shop. So the beer selection is a little dicey at best. They do have a good selection of German, English and Belgian beer. The selection of US micrcos is spotty and frankly not as good as it used to be. I still stop by every couple of weeks and check to see if they have anything new, because they do get some thing that aren’t available elsewhere. |
72 Beltramos will sell single bottles and let you break into any six pack. This is a huge plus if you are travelling and want to pick up some regional beers for your return trip. BevMo has a greater selection, but there are always a few gems at Beltramos that you cannot get elsewhere (in the area). They have an amazing selection of wines. |
56 The Redwood City BevMo is probably the smallest in the Bay Area, so Beltramo’s is a great second stop, especially for imports. Plus, the guys will totally special order something for you if they don’t regularly carry it. |
