We stopped here for a late lunch. It’s a huge dinning area with a bar on the side. The service was great. They had at least 15 beers on tap with three of them being only available at the alehouse. For a place only serving their own beers they had a great selection. They benefit in this regard since their "parent company" owns a few different breweries. We had six different beers between us. They’re all at least good. The pale ale and weisse beer on nitro were amazing. The food is decent. Worth stopping by especially if you’re a Pyramid fan.

Nice pitstop while I was in Sacramento. Pretty typical bar food, pretty average beers.

We were wasting some time here before a Daniel Tosh show. It was kind of a mess. We waited 15 minutes for a table when half of the place was empty. No worries - a chance to try the pyramids I haven’t rated - but they were out of 2 of the 4. One of those tasted off. Food was pretty good pub style. Service was bad (though the kid was trying). Overall - their beers aren’t good enough to put up with the hassle.

Visited on April 23, 2011. Sat at the bar. Came fairly early and it was over Easter, so not many people, fairly calm. Good service from both gils taht worked the bar during the rime I was there. Had two samplers, each of them with 5 glasses of 5 oz beers. Also tried one more 5 oz beer so I could sample all 11 beers they had on from Pyramid and MacTarnahan’s that day. Ate a burger with fries that was cooked nice.

The first Pyramid brewhouse I visited, for a chain it seemed pretty good, actually. I did a taster selection of their beers, which were pretty good, for the most part, nothing special, but nothing esspecially bad. The food was rather nice and pretty affordable, service was also perfectly fine. Not sure I’d go back, but definitely better than any other big chain-brewpub I’ve been to.

I visited this place on a sunny, warm, Sunday afternoon. The restaurant is located on the corner. Upon walking into the place, it does seem quite large, cavernous, and industrial. There are plenty of tables scattered on the floor and there is an "open kitchen" towards the rear of the establishment. On the right is the bar, which has about 10 different offerings on tap, as well as about 6 of the Thomas Kemper Root Beers/Sodas. Above the bar area are some tables and seats that look down over the other tables, somewhat reminiscent of Brouwer’s Cafe in Seattle. The bathrooms are straight back and they are uniquely designed and quite clean. I sat on the patio and was pretty promptly served. The beers I had were average at best and the server tried selling me their Hefeweizen. I did not have any food, as I was still full from my lunch over at Rubicon. This is about a mile walk from Rubicon and I believe Brew-it-up is also in the viscinity.

The food is not unique, but it is good. The place has a chiq modern atmosphere. Usually about 10 or so beers on draft. Ok, if you want a Pyramid. Makes a change from Brew-It-Up.
