Visited for dinner on Monday 21/04/14 around 8.30pm.
Srange place indeed - high end mexican/french fusion cuisine (circa $30/35 for entrees) split into a restaurant on one side, bar on the other with a full wall separating the two so you can’t see one from the other, we found this place as an eating option in the Lonely Planet guide book.
We were the only people there for the entire hour, hence low ambiance, nice enough decor though.
Food was really good, we both had a well presented fish based dish.
Service strange, weird female server - early 30’s, she started talking to us while we were two-thirds of our way through our entrees and never left until she took the plates away, hence low service score - really wanted to tell her to fuck off !
Reason I added this venue is that it carries a solid tap list, certainly one of the best in the Gas Lamp Tourist Trap area.
16 taps with offerings from The Bruery, Modern Times, Stone, Alesmith, Mother Earth, St Archer, Bear Republic and others.
Food was great - service and lack of other people not so, maybe just see how the land lies or just pop in for a few drinks in the bar!
