Warehouse/business park location that seemed a little bit difficult to find. There are some tables outside for a small patio area and a decent amount of space and seating inside. Since it was GABF week, they had four special beers on in addition to their usual 5 or 6. Beers were okay at best. Their fruited wheat beer was my favorite, which seems to be happening more and more. Some interesting beers at least, but nothing that really blew me away.

Another industrial warehouse brewery. The difference here is that if you pass out drunk you can shower in the morning before heading home. Not really, but they do have a shower stall in the bathroom. We sat out on the patio as it was a nice temperature for October. They have food trucks and apparently (according to the couple sharing the table with us) it was very good. The place has a nice feel to it with lots of picnic tables and some talkative patrons but I don’t feel the same way about the beers. My favorite beer was the fruited wheat beer. It may not be a crowd favorite among the beer geeks but it was the most enjoyable for me. As mentioned by adneilsen, it only took me 11,000 beers to figure out that the fruity beer will be the best one at a mediocre brewery. Actually the beer here isn’t bad over all but some of the more ambitious styles weren’t overly good. On the plus side they do some interesting stuff for GABF and every day this week they’re tapping several more beers.

The location is a bit hard to find and sports a warehouse-style interior. Many of their beers were pretty gimmicky during my last visit but the staff and brewer were nice enough. I’ll probably give them another shot at some point.

Shitters: D+ (shower curtain offered, ha)

Great, unique brews! Each seems to evoke a memory of a time spent outdoors. Each beer transports me to a different time and place. Magical, must drink!

I was unable to find any beer made without flavorings. though some of these flavorings were muted, such as in the stout and porter, the rest provided the dominant character of the beer. other than the very pedestrian styles made (red, pale, ipa, porter, stout), there was a new batch of a saison (woohoo) made with pears and peppercorns (ugh). uninviting storage unit ambiance, beginner homebrew-level beers, most of them made with flavorings. Not my thing.

Brouwerij  (40) Boulder, Colorado | November 20, 2012| Updated September 16, 2013
A husband-wife owned nanobrewery tucked in a commercial complex just off Arapahoe. Neat little tap room, nicely finished. Medium bar and several tables plus a little patio that is open during nice weather. There taps list is not huge, new seasonal every few weeks. Beer was decent.
