After tubing with some of my friends nearby, we were starving and looking for a good place to sit down, have some good food and kick back a few brews. With a name like Speckled Hen, we figured there’d be some good beers. What surprised me was that they not only have an impressive bottle list, but they also have some interesting beers on draught and some good vintage beers. Prices are reasonable and the food was a combination of Scottish, Irish and English pub fare. The bangers and mash was great. While there, I had an 11 year old Koff Porter, some other ales, and a few wheat beers. Dessert was also good. I’ll definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone in the area.
