A decent selection of bottled, foreign beers and Danish micros, all though nothing new. Several beers on tap, bur t again nothing special. The place isn’t cosy at all.

New visit march 2008. I was the first to taste the new Århus Bryghus Pale Ale on tap, served by the brewer Niels Buchwald! New staff and the new owner must have learned about beer. In fact they have a wider selection than Cockney. Just keep away from some of the tap beers. Some are getting old and flat in the pipes. Now they have a very fine bottle selection of danish micros Århus bryghus, Fanoe bryghus, Broeckhouse and Mikkeller. They serve samples if you´re kind.

Been here a few times, and I’m frankly very disappointed with it. The staff knows next to nothing about the beers they serve. And they do not change their selection often enough to warrant frequent visits. There may be a few smaller Danish brews, but nothing to wet most beer enthusiasts appetites. In addition, their bottles beers are hideously expensive.

Visited the place a day, where the bartender had nothing to do, then he spend lots of time serving 15 people in a very good manner. Most of them were non-geeks, therefore they had some great beers, but for geeks, go instead for Charlies. Cool interieur!

Had a cuvee van de keizer 2004 which was amazing (best beer from het anker) unfortunatly served in Augustijn glass. Mainly Belgium beers: Trappist, mahleur etc.. Didnt find the service rather friendly. Selection of danes were almost intimidating bad. Anyway one of the better places in Aarhus I think!

Very quiet when we visited. So much so that the barman spent most of the time sitting with us at our table. Fair number of Danish micros but nothing particularly rare. Ended up staying a fair while talking and drinking some bottled Herslev beers that I could have picked up easily elsewhere just to keep the barman company.

I am not impressed. The selection is nat bad, just boring. I were there for about 2 years ago, and now again - and the selection was best the first time. (No ølfabrikken, mikkeller, daCapo..... no toprated danish beer. A lot from Fur !!

A cosey little place. The bartenders have some knowledge about beer. Often their draft beers are partly sold out.

I thinh this is a great place. Sometimes they got really rare beer. Grauballe Sortøl f.i. Great service but not so cosey. No problem getting tasters. I am on emailcall when they have rarities, but I havent got any mails yet so maybee that doesnt work. This place is not nearly as good as when they started. More mainstream beer and way too expensive.
