One of the few places to have some decent food and brews in Amsterdam.

Modern place with nice Johnny Cash-ish music. 30 taps with mostly Dutch stuff. Not sure whether there is any bottle menu. Decent staff.

An awesome craft beer location in the heart of Amsterdam. Modern with lots of character. 32 taps and a decent bottle selection. Wi-Fi and friendly helpful staff. I wish this were my local. 15cl servings too, so ideal for ticking.

Interesting neighborhood. Deep modern bar, modern style with lots of wood. Some truly weird costumers. Bit of an odd bar, they have 30 taps, lots of choice with NL, Scandinavian etc. fare largely,… Selection looked very interesting, most beers I got weren’t that good, lots but not expertly picked. Waitress was very nice and got me a flight, apparently they stop serving them in the evening, it was before 18.00. They show lots of football games. Steep prices occasionally but also Amsterdam. Few costumers just boozing here. Weird bar in several ways but largely in good ways.

Sleek modern place with a long serving bar and lots of bar tables, plus an outdoor area that was dominated by the 4:20 crowd. Football on multiple screens inside. Flights of four ounce pours available, though you wouldn't know that from the menu. Nice up-to-date electronic board behind the bar. Nice draft selection too, plenty of new and interesting stuff, plus a few crappy ones, oh well.

(Visited March 2018) Nice and friendly bar and restaurant in a residential area a bit south of the usual tourist area of Amsterdam. Easily reached by tram, and not far from Foeders. It's long and narrow with the bar on the right and seats and tables on the left. Some seats by the bar as well. Interior is quite modern, mainly in concrete, brick, steel and brown wood. Good beer selection with 30 taps of interesting craft beers from around the world (NL, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Belgium and more on my visit). The tap list is on a screen behind the bar. Really good food, I tried the Mediterranean fish stew, delicious. Nice and friendly service. Well worth a visit, and easily combined with Foeders. Recommended.

A really good beer destination this one. 30 taps, most of them from Dutch breweries supported by a few American ones and an IPA from Lervig at our visit. Beers are served in 250ml and 500ml sizes, no beer flight, but free tasters given on request. Dark wooden and steel interiors in a long and slightly narrow room with a kitchen to the rear and the servery along the right side. The beer menu is listed above the bar and distributed on the tables. Lunch and dinner options, we had a delicious and well made Beef Stew, just a bit expensive. A few tables and chairs outside. Friendly, attentive and helpful service. Great British music played at one of our visit, like Stone Roses. Pulp, Clash and Oasis. Helst is located in a pedestrian area in Oude Pijp, close to Sarphatipark and to the Albert Cuypmarkt. The near associated Bierbaum is found just around the corner. Opens early. (Visited with Leif twice, 10th and 11th March 2018).

Visit on a thursday night as a follow up after Foeders. Modern bar with lots of modern style wood and dimmed lighting. Doge sleeping on the floor. 30 taps, mix of dutch and international, czech pils. Ok decent place to check out.

Way too expensive, but selection is awesome. Czech, German, American beers. They have 30+ taps, the bar itself has very nice interiors, but I am not sure I would come back.

Visited September 2017 with beery friends. Close to a tram 4 stop ( taking it from Central train station ). Great atmosphere, lots of beers, served in good condition. Great variation on the beers list. Very friendly and helpfull staff. They do nice food, both bar snacks and prober food. Free Wifi, For sure on my visiting list next time I visit Amsterdam.
