Nice, little beer bar in Boca Raton. If I’m rating this vs other bars it scores higher but if I am rating this against other Beer bars, it falls a little short. That being said, it is nice to have another place in South Florida that doesn’t just push out macros.I am not too into the decor of the place, so I rated it pretty low. Wood paneling in Florida just seems weird. The service was very attentive, but lost a few points because none of them seemed to know much about beer. A pretty big knock in my book. Our bartender recommended the burger, and it was very good. Good draft selection that I am told rotates fairly often. Not blown away by the bottle selection. Not my favorite place, but I’ll be back again.

Sold beer bar in Boca, where with a few exceptions awful macros dominate. While the bottle selection is nothing to write home about (I remember it being larger at one point) the draft selection is interesting and rotated well. Service is pretty good and bartender knowledge of beer is fair. The food is very good, Chicken Nachos and Beef Sliders being my favorite. Where it loses points for me is that it feels like a college (get drunk) bar rather than a beer bar, so i don’t make it there regularly, but will stop by when they have somthing good on draft I’ve yet to try.

This is one of the best places to get beer in the Boca Raton/Deerfield beach area. The staff are all super friendly and know their stuff. I’ve been there a few times now and have never had a bad experience. There is not an enormous selection but you can usually find something good. Most of the beers that they get seem to be a bit rare for the area. I’ve only had the burger but it’s been consistently solid. Great place.

The food is always fresh and never frozen. Hands down this place makes some tasty treats. Their loaded fries, jumbo chicken wings, and burgers are amazing. In my opinion any bar can offer beer and food that’s good, but what will put it over the top is the wait staff. Fun and friendly the staff at the Lodge is just awesome, and just a bit off (if you know what I mean). They are all extremely educated on what they are serving, and love talking about beer or whatever is on one of their many tvs at the moment. Growlers?!? Yep they even have growlers available for sale. What’s a growler? Well it’s this;

I love the all wood paneling in there. Really gives it the lodgey type feel. Just needs some animal heads on the walls to take the cake. Phaan who runs the bar pretty much is very nice and pretty knowledgeable. The selection is pretty nice in bottle and taps. They rotate taps mostly but always have some that are always there like Pabst, Killians and Yuengling. They recently started doing growlers but they seem a bit expensive on some beers to fill. The food is pretty good as well. Weekends do get a little crazy with a college crowd so if that’s not your thing you may want to go during the week.

This is a neat place. The wood everywhere is really cool. The menu is good, always something really cool on tap. Certainly worth a trip.

Not a bad place if your in the area. Has a nice 2-4-1 special for students all day. They have a nice changing selection of beers in bottles, 12oz and 24oz bottles. They have about 20 beers on tap. The place isn’t that big but its a pretty cool place to hang out.
