Old-style feel, down the stairs and smelling a bit antique-like. 10 taps, 7 of which had something pouring. They had a tap takeover from a Portuguese brewery when I visited, so not much local beer available. Generally, 0.25L is the smallest pours they do, but the bartender was kind enough to do 0.1L pours for me. Pleasant place.
Outstanding hidden gem in a subterrenian venue. One of the Proprietors, STEVE, is a library of good information. The day I came..someone had power washed some of the lettering..even more charming... Great place
This cellar place was empty when we visited in the afternoon, so the barman was happy that we saved him from having to do some cleaning. They had a tap takeover from a Portuguese craft brewer, but there were still a few local things to try, and some bottles in the fridge. When we ordered a honey beer the barman gave us a sample of a mead to try alongside. Has a big white screen, not sure if this is for sports or something else. I did not see any food. Worthwhile stop.
Visited May 2018. Not the easiest place to find, since most of the letters was missing over the entrance.. Placed in a cellar ( nice and cool ).. Friendly staff, weird music..Lots of seatings ( heavy German style )... Beers served in good condition.. Have a few bottle beers as well..
Cellar pub, vaulted ceiling and no Wifi connection at all. 10 taps, mostly Mikkeller and Omnipollo at my visit. Great beers but not what I'm seeking when in Hungary. Tap list on Untappd. Two fridges with bottles (99% Mikkeller) but they were half empty. Not at all 200 bottles. Nice service, free tasters offered, and your choice is 25 cl or 33 cl. I chose the only Hungarian beer on tap: Horizont Pilot Series #3 - Habanero Porter. Enjoyed the beer listening to classic rock music and watching some people playing darts. Nice place, great beers, but not a must visit for me. (Visited March 29th 2018)
