Ambitious effort, but I don’t give this place much hope. Exclusively Amercian craft beer selection - 12 really good taps (3 more bourbon taps),a huge bottle list. I don’t go for big bottle lists - any bar can have zillions of bottles when the distributors are giving out coolers these days. But this bottle list is unique - dozens of breweries and bottles you can’t get in liquor stores. 7 from Flossmoor, 7 from 2 Brothers etc, etc. Plenty of intriguing bottles from around the country might make it worth straying from the taps. The bad news - 12 taps were actually only running 7, no proper glassware, ridiculously expensive, even for Wrigleyville (save for the daily 3$ special - on good stuff like the Left Hand 400lb Monkey). On 2 visits, either I was the only one in there for an hour, or the bartender was a trainee, so I should reserve my opinion on the nearly non-existent service, and will for the food - a skimpy 9$ pulled pork sandwich served frig cold with undercooked fries.

Love the beer selection, truly the best american craft beer selection in the city, and a bunch of them pair up real well with the smokehouse menu. Great draft selection, today it was: rogue mocha porter lagunitas ipa, censored, and gnarleywine 2 bros ebel’s weiss Avery czar original sin victory hop wallop founder’s devil dancer surly bitter brewer magic hat #9 sapient trip ale
