74 Nice beer selection and decent food in the heart of the city. Had a good time watching rugby and eating burgers. |
58 An update after a visit to the restaurant upstairs in March 2017. Score went down from 74 to 58. Why fly in staff from Australia that don’t serve you the beers you order, but rather whatever suits them, cold food and meat that is red, close to uncooked for some parts, and well done for other parts. You can easily find lazy, indifferent and incompetent staff amongst Danish youth?
Old review:
Visited a couple of times - for the beers, brunch and a burger. Neatly tucked away in a quiet courtyard away from the busy, touristy streets around Kongens Nytorv this is a cosy bar and restaurant. Solid offerings from Beer Here, To Øl, Lervig and others on 14 taps. Nice staff, booth in the bar and in the restaurant on first floor. Food is flawless and imaginative, with a focus on Australian cuisine. A lovely spot in Central Copenhagen. |
54 This is a very difficult review. Food was excellent. But selection was kind of pour as only one australian beer was available (Draught). When going to the bottle list I tried to order 4 different beers but non of them was in stock. It took the waiter over one hour to figure that out. I ended up drinking only one beer because of the waiting hours. Finally the waiter asked me to go the fridge and look for my self, Generally my 8 colleges found the service to be terrible (1 out of 10). The table next to us was not cleared (food-leftovers)during the 3 hours we were eating. |
80 Quite cosy bar with a nice selection of good quality beer. I had To Øl, Dry & Bitter and Pipeworks while I was there. The man at the bar knew his stuff about beer. The restaurant offers some very tasty kangaroo sou vide. Bottle selection was also quite good. |
78 This will be one of my new favourite spots, a must whenever I’m i Copenhagen. Very nice selection of beers on tap plus a servicable selection in the fridge. Had an excellent burger, and the staff were extremely friendly and easygoing. I miss Den tatoverede enke which used to be here, but Banksia is a very welcome addition to the beer scene in Copenhagen. |
72 Some 15 beers on tap, mostly good quality (Beer Here, Alesmith, Omnipollo). Their Kangaroo sliders are excellent! Service is frindly but can be slow at times |
82 Visited the day after Omnipollo tap takeover, stayed longer than expected due to the rain. We came in the late afternoon, didn’t seem very busy. Some fantastic Omnipollo beers, also some other interesting stuff on tap. Service was very good. Food was great, I’d recommend eating here. Not sure what are they pouring on normal non-CBC days, but we were glad we paid it a visit. |
74 Pretty standard bar with a patio in Copenhagen. 14 taps total, decent bottle list but they were out of a lot of things on that list. Staff was very helpful. Did not eat, but the menu is Australian focused. Not a terrible spot, but there are better spots if you are just hunting for beer. |
90 Location in central CPH, hidden away from the busy streets in a quiet courtyard:
- Bar in the basement.
- Patio outdoor seating in courtyard.
- Restaurant on the first floor.
- Smaller but excellent selection of beers on tap (10-12) and wide choice of bottles. Very good food, now even with delicious brunch.
- Staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and service minded: going out of their ways to serve the guests... Excellent place! |
78 Former "Den Tatoverede Enke". Still a bar in the basement, outdoor seating is possible. Restaurant on the first floor with really nice food. Still excellent selection of beers on tap and bottles. Friendly and service minded staff with a good knowledge of their beers. |
