A small place in a high basement with 12 taps and a few interesting bottles. A bit of the beating track of Copenhagen beer bars, and only once in a while something on tap that isn’t already mainstream on the other side of the harbor, which makes my visits seldom. Decorated in light colors with some art on the walls, and a nice semi sunny and semi shaded outside seating area, which is the best of any beer bar in Copenhagen.

(Visited July 2013) Nice and friendly beer bar in a residential area in Island Brygge south of the city centre. The bar is in the basement and quite small with a few tables and chairs. Seating outside as well. Nice and friendly service. Good selection of draught beers, 10-12 taps with interesting micro brews, mainly from Denmark. House beer is from Amager. Interesting selection of bottled beers, not massive but quite well chosen. Laid back and friendly atmosphere, with a couple of beer geeks and locals. Worth the slight detour.

Small basement bar in the cozy Islands Brygge neighborhood. Outdoor seating area as well. Very sparse interior with a bar, 12 taps and two refrigerators with French cider, and a number of excellent Danish, Belgian and American beers. All on the high end in terms of quality. Very good service from the staff. Apart from house beer which I thought was rather boring, they have a good selection of the best breweries in Denmark as Mikkeller, Amager Bryghus and To Øl. Well worth a stop on Amager.

Surprisingly solid selection with strong atttion to having the best of the best. Fridge had speedway stout, cantillon and ancorage and of course lots others. Taps were of very high quality too. Large outdoors serving area and inside a cosy café like layout, great and k.owledgable service. House beer is hardcore and a must.

As of February 2013 this place has served as a local watering hole for people living or/and working at Islands Brygge and neighbouring districts. Not exactly cozy, but clean and tidy. A little crammed with tables being too big for the rather small frontroom. Decent if not sensational selection and very friendly service. 12 taps, mostly Dansih, American and Belgian micros, that doesn’t really differ from what you’ll find at other "local" Copenhagen bars like Fermentoren or Ørsted Ølbar. The real gem here, though, is the black fridge with a nice selection of stouts and porters. Also has a small selection of bottled Belgian sours, IPAs and a few French ciders. Outdoor serving if the weather is fine.
