No Longer In Business

Located a bit off the beaten track but it’s a nice walk if the weather is good. The place is a large old warehouse or the like with lots of food stands. Apparently there’s a beer bar inside too, but I didn’t manage to locate it - it was too crowded. Outside there’s another beer bar (probably only open when the weather permits it) with four taps and a selection of bottles, primarily from BRAW (brand from Nørrebro Bryghus). Of the four taps, two were out and two were stouts, so that didn’t impress me much (it was 25 degrees C, which is a lot in Denmark). I was able to find a nice IPL on bottle though. Service was fine and prices high which is to be expected at this location

Copenhagen Street Food is essentially a big warehouse and outside waterfront seating area located on Papirøen (Paper Island). Within the warehouse there is numerous bars and mobile/fixed food stalls, offering a variety of Street Food from across the world (really recommend Bulko the South Korean stall) . Visited many times last summer and just again recently and it has expanded again. There is a beer serving hut outside in the spring/summer, and then 4 bars inside (Bucket Bar, Cow Bar, Drueta Bar, and The Stormly Bar.) The Bucket Bar and Cow bar serve only a few different beers (Newcastle Brown/Edelweiss/Royal Pils on last visit) Drueta is a specialist wines/gin tonics and spirits, but the Stormly Bar, right at the back of the warehouse is the one to check out for beer. It seems to have a rotation of beers from the likes of Norrebro/Heslev and guest ales (most recently from BornholmerØL’en, and I have picked up a few ticks here. Overall Copenhagen Street food is a mix of London’s Borough Market, and Copenhagen’s Torvehallerne. Well worth a visit when it is at its best in the spring/summer months so can pick up some good beer ticks, and great food while sitting out in the sun by the waterfront.
