No Longer In Business

Visited this in early October with heavy as we were based two towns up north in Andora... Went there by bus on a Thursday, fell victim to the mind boggling working hours. The bus decided not to show up on Friday so Saturday it was. Nice enough place, several rooms, can accommodate a lot of people I guess. Wasn’t exactly packed, at least the part we were in but there were plenty of local young people around, most of them looking like epic twats heh. The brewer was cool enough, up for a chat and pleasant, hooking us up with one of the last bottles of Lazar he had, but the serving staff was probably the most confused bunch of people we’ve run into, managing to completely botch 3 orders. We order one of each available beers, the guy brings us two glasses of the pale lager... we point out the mistake but say that we’ll keep the lagers anyway (not to be too annoying as they seemed busy) and repeat to the waiter what was in our original order... then we wait for ages for the rest and nothing comes our way (and we were 1.5m from them(!!). Completely dependent on the bus, the last of which arrived soon, we remind them of our and the guy brings 2 glasses of the wheat... argh. Mind you, we ordered in Italian too. The bill was botched too but all was sorted out in the end (saved by the brewer/owner without whom the service rating would’ve been awful), and they were beyond fair. I even got me a cool ’nuff wheat glass.They have food but we didn’t order it. A nice enough place to go drinking if you’re in those parts, the beers are ok (avoid the lager, the Croisade is really ince), and it even has a decent selection of Belgian (style) beers... lovely to see a place dedicated to craft beer in those parts, but mind the working hours and be extra clear when ordering if they seem a little busy. I’d definitely visit it again.
