No point to rate it, but in the case it opens again, it was the only store visited with Marko in Genova (2009), selection was great, some really rare Italian micros, although pricey a bit. Seller was very helpful and we got shirts for spending much. Hope it will reopen, beer hunters need such places!

(Visited 11/2009): Beer8 is located in the Galleria Giuseppe Mazzini off Via Roma not far from the Piazza Corvello. Not sure what parking options are available but there are a lot of taxis and public transportation options nearby. The Galleria is basically an covered shopping area, with Beer8 being on the end. The store is very small but manages to squeeze a lot of beer into the space. On the left side of the store are shelves full of beer from Italy and Belgium. On the right side are "imports" from the US. As far as the Italian beers go, they have a great selection including many I had never heard of from brewers like Maltus Faber, Tarricone and Piccolo Birrificio. As for the Belgians there was a good selections of Trappists and others from the region. On the import side brewers like Brooklyn and Sierra Nevada are represented. Another interesting find was Duff beer. Service was fine considering the language barrier. Overall this was a surprise and a pleasant find during our stay in Genova.

Surprisingly small beer store with a tidy range of beers including local Italian micros. I didnt purchase any beers as nothing really caught my eye. Im sure they stock some limited beers at certain times of year though. Worth having a look.

A tiny beershop with strange working hours (and seemingly liberal understanding of them). Waiting for this to open did, however, lead us to the nearby supermarket so at least something good came out of that :). The selection, however, was very interesting, with some quite rare stuff. The prices were slightly steep but quite bearable from what I can remember. The people there were nice and helpful, but no English spoken. Still, having spent quite a bit there, we got a couple of nice t-shirts, a very nice gesture by all means :).
