Nice enough place near the Cathedral. Not my cup of tea - a bit too restauranty for me, but I can see the appeal. They do carry one cask ale plus four keg which won’t set the world alight (Grolsch, Estrella, and Fruitesse make up three of them although the fourth was a Chilean Session IPA). Some interesting bottles, but again nothing earthy shattering although you may pick up the odd tick. Loads of good pubs in Leicester so this one can be missed.

It took a little finding this one. Pleasant, smart pub, if a little hushed and subdued. There was less choice when I went in, the taps were fairly standard fare, managed to find a new beer on the bottled list though. No cask ale, but that’s ok as long as you know. Not sure it would be a regular for me.

Nice place bedecked in Belgian beer memorabilia. At first I dismissed it as a place with the standard range of foreign beers, but there are actually quite a few interesting things on offer. I tried the Monteiths on special offer and also noticed 3 keg taps dedicated to Portland. All the classics are on offer. A good choice for Belgian beers.
