Large, modern Restaurant, Bistro type set up. Modern with quick and efficient service. There are a few cask ales on sale and a new beer may come your way, but this is not what the place is about. Pleasant enough though and the food was good.

2 min walk from the bus station and 15-20 walk min from Lime street. More a modern looking restaurant than a pub. Very busy sometimes. It will not be a big problem to find something new here. But I would reccomend you to find Liverpool One Bridewell instead. Kazimier Garden (Liverpool Craft) is not far away either.

You are welcomed for a drink here in the quiet hours, when this place is filled up, its more of a restaurant with local beers on tap. Visited several times during my Liverpoool stay, as I lived in the same building. Well worth a visit, very close to Liverpool One Bridewell.

Where the roads begin again on the south side of the commercial centre, this place occupies a rotund corner building close to the Liverpool One shopping area. It’s certainly more of a restaurant than a bar, but there’s plenty of stools at the aforementioned a couple of high-level tables to sit at if you just want a drink, and the decor and set-up are inviting enough. There’s several cask ale pumps dotted around the corner of the ‘L’ shaped service area and all mainly carry local microbrewery brews.

Nice enough place near john Lewis. Very busy and noisy on the midweek night I went. Beer selection ok. Several from local breweries, as well a few international bottled beers.

more of a restaurant than pub but possible to just have a drink. packed with diners in the evening. good showing of cask from local brewers. interesting display of bottled beers but turns out they’re display only (boo!!). worth popping your head round the door for some new rates. Gleaming copperbrewkit also for display it seems. staff helpful enough but refused to serve at certaion section of bar and had to queue again

It’s situated on the corner of Hanover and Duke Street, very close to the Liverpool One area. A rather large place with a cool and friendly atmosphere. Wood décor in a modern style. My Hub Grill of rump steak, pork, leek sausage, chicken breast, gammon, fried egg and salad was just delicious. Five interesting cask ales, including the house beer from the Liverpool Organic brewery, and 10 of the traditional world beers on tap. In addition there was a decent choice of 14 bottled beers, like Chimay Red, Duvel, Budvar and so on. Attentive service by the table. Clean toilets. You should check the cask ales yourself and not depend on the information from the staff. (Visited after the Hammers match at Anfield, 07.04.2013).
