Would Not recommended for visiting!!! We visited there last week just because it rated pretty high here. I was very sceptic after reading most recent reviews and unfortunately there was no surprise - this is The worse beer serving place during my 2 weeks tour at Sweden/Danmark. The location is the really good and the property nice as well. Beer choice very standard and limited. Than I asked to try one of their draft IPA’s, I was told that Sweden law not allowed to do so!!!! I guess it is not true, as I visited at least 15 beer places around Sweden and never heard such a noncence. With no discussion, we just left to The Bishops Arms located 200m close by and that place service is totaly oposite - just great. So, unfortunately, have to give Hamnmastren the lowest score ever. Again, the bug in the rating calculation bring it to high place, but this is not a true!!

Used to be one of my favorite places in Malmö, but it has gone downhill. Very limited selection and the general atmosphere was so so. Only thing it still has going for it is nice outdoor seating if the weather is good.

Cute little house with a large biergarten surronding the house, the beer they got is really good. But the waiting line is quite ridiculous at times. Did not try the food.

Very good overall quality of the brewpubs own beers and nice selection of external ones. However, the bar is understaffed, the staff is unorganized with frustratingly long wait times. And worst of all the food is a total DISASTER.

Visited June 10, 2015. First visit, not been here on earlier trips, can’t say why, more then I usually ended up at Malmö Brygghus (now Taproom Malmö) instead and got stuck there. Got there shortly before they opened, stayed for about 2 hours. Had a couple of Malmö Brygghus beers, sampled some pulled pork and pulled beef that was great, though didn’t really eat here. Plenty of seating inside, also plenty of seating outside. Can get super hot when the sun is shining, like this day, but I could find some shade and hide my fragile skin from the heat. Fresh nice beers, also other craft beer than the beers from Malmö Brygghus. Plenty of bottles to choose from as well. Nice friendly service, also very knowledgeable. Very centrally located, close by the Malmö central station. Not that long of a walk from Malmö Brygghus/Taprrom Malmö. Since so close to the central station easy to walk from there. Didn’t really notice parking, but 99% sure I saw a parking garage very close by as well. Never asked if they had WiFi available or not. By the time we left plenty of people had showed up after work, if the weather is nice I can see this place getting packed. Wouldn’t mind going back, when so central, so many beers and such a great staff, why not return? Recommended for sure.

Arrived at opening time after a stroll around town. Nice place, decent range of beer available, well kept. Prices weren’t too bad. Had a barbecue thing going on so sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine, beer and a good meal. Would visit again if in the locality.
