A short walk from the city centre to the quay or take one of the many trams that end up here. A wonderful location and great to sit outside during the summer months to admire the view. Not much here beer wise unless you need to tick the James Squire range. The interior was ok but lacking a little character. I feel that they could and should have made so much more of this place given its location.

Came here on 28.2.2016. Location is great, directly at the harbor with a great view to the football stadium. They serve all the Squire beers, which are mediocre at the best. The Pale Ale had an unusal sour after taste. The IPA was ok, nothing spectacular. Food, had the kangaroo steak, was good. The service was horrible, what an arrogant waiter. Overall a commercial place with no beer ambition.

They don’t brew here any longer, I edited the place from a brewpub to a restuarant.
7 taps of James Squire beers, 5 taps of other beers on.
Seems to be a popular restuarant, pretty packed the evening I visited.
Took the tram to the end station at Waterfront City, walked around the big building by the water and found the place.
Service for a guy getting only beers from the bar was rather questionable.
Plenty of indoors seating, some outdoors. Dark outside when I visited, but the view over the water is likely spectacular during the day. Not much to visit for the beers, you can find the same and more at the James Squire in the city.

The brewpub is located in the Docklands area of Melbourne. Place has quite a bit of glass and chrome but has a pretty comfortable feel. Unfortunately they only brew one beer on site and the rest are the standard James Squire offerings. The personnel are freindly but not too knowledgeable about the beers. The menu has a good selection of pub fare although is seemed a bit pricey. Not a must visit place but if you have some spare time, check it out.

Based in the docklands area, it’s what you expect for a JS Brewhouse. There was just the one JS beer available here - Docklands Ale and the rest is the usual JS Range. This place was dead quiet when I visited on a week night.

Not too sure about this place, the beers are good enough, the food is ok, the location is pretty spectacular... but for me it’s not really a place I could see myself enjoying more than once. Like the James Squire beers, its a bit fake, and expensive I guess. Staff knew little to nothing about the beers too.

Not a big fan of this place but it’s definitely the only place of interest in the Docklands. Cavernous, touristy joint not unlike the one in Sydney. They’ve had Highwayman there but I’ve never seen Speculator. Not sure if they do the Craic. Anyway I think the beer selection is more limited than the other location, it’s out of the way and not as nice a place to drink.
