I noted all the comments below on rare finds. Yes, they do stock up on rare QC gems, such as Unibroue 10,11 and such..but they are now sold at 15.99$ per bottle. I guess its now supply and demand! Excellent saucisses from Faim d’Loup were bought by my sister...they are the best!

It took forever to get there, traffic was murder on the main strip. We were lucky enough to find a parking spot right in front. Looks from both the outside and in like a small town general store. Good selection of local stuff, like Bièropholie/Le Chaudron, Charlevoix, RJ, McAuslan and Unibroue. Imports are the usual crappy suspects imported by the macros. They have glassware and other schwag, fairly more expensive than in the city. They do however, have a little selection of aged bottles, but they’re out of sight, you have to ask the clerk. I walked out of there with two 12oz bottles of ’99 Trois Pistoles, at arount 8$ a pop. Pricey, but hopefully they’ll be worth it if they were aged properly. Service was quick and efficient, and it was too bad the drive to get there got me stressed for time, because the owner seemed to know his stuff and I would have liked to know the history behind the bottles he sold me. Don’t go out of your way to go here, but if you’re in town to ski and can’t stop in Mtl, you can get your fill of locals here.

This is a very cool shop. The selection of Quebec micros is exceptional. The prices are fair and you can buy plenty of singles. As a sidebar, they have bottled water from all over the world which doesn’t interest me that much but is a cool touch.

Visited July 2nd 2004 - Literally stumbled onto this bottleshop by accident, I took a quick trip into town to find groceries for camping and its a very visible cornershop on the main drag of Saint-Jovite. Has most every one of all the common and rare Quebec beers found at Le Grand Duc and Metro Joannette: Alchimiste, La Barberie, Bieropholie, Brasseurs du Nord, Breughel, Le Chaudron, Les Frères Houblons, La Lièvres, Lion d’Or, McAuslan, Nouvelle-France, RJ, Saint-Antoine Abbé, Saint Arnould, Schoune and Unibroue. Fair selection from each brewery... and some hidden rarities - I was fortunate enough to have found perhaps one of the last bottles of Unibroue Kamouraska for a thieving $8.00. But hey, I bought a deplorable Schoune for the same amount elsewhere. Enjoy this tourist town’s finest...
