Stopped in here per Dany’s suggestion (even though he hadn’t been here yet). Open four roughly 45 days when I came in, November of probably 2014. Gorgeous copper and black, cool hand made piping fixtures for the sinks outside of the bathroom. Friendly and happy staff. They make their whiskey sours with a freshly cracked egg. That impresses me. Food menu looks like it’s seasonal and inspired by what’s fresh and available. Also a nice touch. Slightly pricey at 13-14 for the salads. 7 of their beers listed, only 5 on tap.

Visited on July 31, 2014 at night. Located in the more trendy part of Laurier Street, about 5 minutes walk west of Dieu du Ciel. This place was the former Rotisserie Laurier, that was purchased by some local investors and the British chef Gordon Ramsay back in November of 2010, but it went down hill. So last May (2014), half of the former restaurant is now a brewpub, which is actually Les Brasseurs de West Shefford, who were also known as La Micro de Bromont and before that Le Chaudron, so this is brewery number two. The place itself has this hip rustic look, almost like some of the new trendy bars in Montreal. The staff is friendly, but not that beer knowledgeable. Not a big food menu but it looks interesting and all under $20. The beers itself are priced at par with most of the Montreal brewpubs, for $5 you get three tasters. They can have up to 12 beers on tap, that night there were 6 of their own (one was not available), a cider and Labatt 50 (really). They also had son bottle of l’Alchimiste et Trou du Diable. As for their beers, I only tried three and they are OK at best. Their stout (Pretty Bastard) was nice but their witbier (La Brassée de Blanc) suck. Plus their 12 oz and 20 oz glasses are chilled. I may go back to try their food and the only beer they did not have.

Un petit kit de brassage et une courte sélection habite ce local qui se veut trendy et cher pour peu. Le menu a du potentiel mais je ne suis passé que rapidement. J’ai essayé trois de leurs bières et c’est du calibre de Helm pas très loin.
