No Longer In Business

Been there in 2008; not really a place where to try their beers, but just to buy out; nevertheless the owner came to open upon phone appointment, and later helped me to trace the last bottle of Barley Wine available in shops on the island!

The proprietors of this small Vancouver Island brewery are quite friendly. The basic beers aren’t anything special, but the Porter is usually excellent and they have a couple of winter seasonals worth checking out. You can buy growlers, kegs or pigs during retail hours. They also sell wort on brew days (usually Sunday) as well as malt and hops. This pretty much makes them the centre for the local beer scene, with homebrewers dropping by and that sort of thing. You would be remiss if you were in the Nanaimo area and didn’t stop by.
