Cosy restaurant not too far away from Kulovy Blesk or Nota Bene. Interior is to me somehow reminiscent of a typical German Greek restaurant. Almost all Polička beers on tap here, all above average brews, the Kvasnicovýs being the standouts. Food is standard Czech fare, quite oily and tasty as hell, dirt cheap to boot. Service speaks excellent English.
A nice restaurant with a small bar section. Just a few tram stations from Muzeum, but very slow and no tourists at all. Prices are the best so far in Prague. Beers cost you almost nothing at all. Six decent beers from Policka on tap, two of then unfiltered. Food is cheap and rather good froma quite typical Czech menu. Don’t miss it, it’s worth a visit.
Modest and cozy restaurant in a cool neighborhood, where I was brought by my other hobby for a lunch. Food was EXCELLENT! Dirty cheap, big dishes, tasty, traditional Czech. Want to go back at the place only for the food! Modest selection of beers, four of their own, one of which is seasonal I think, not bad, standard for Bohemia, cheap as well. Also some macro NA for those who can’t drink. Very helpful and polite service, fast. Sincerely hope this place will always stay as it is! I see only complaints about smoking only area, which I didn’t notice, luckily, place was rather empty at the early afternoon in November. So, beer-wise not so interesting, food-wise a must!
Here you will find the complete range of Policka beers. And, they have always been in good condition. I have visited this cellar pub several times during the last 5 years. I like to come early, sit down alone and enjoy unfiltered Policka beer. Friendly service. (Visited 24th February 2012)
Great spot in town to try the Policske beers. 11° and 12° Svetly Kvasnicovy on tap as well as their filtered versions. The 10° Svetly and 13° Tmave were also available. Smoking allowed so recommend a visit early in the day to focus on the beer. About half were in good shape, the others suffering from a bit too much diacetyl, sigh. Also be wary of glassware smelling of detergent and dishrag and don’t be coy about asking for a replacement. Bottles available to-go. No WIFI.
Small local traditional Czech restaurant, aesy reachable by Namesti Miru Metro station on the green A line. Good service, and reasonable priced, filling food. Recommended not only for their beers, but also for their kitchen.
