Hard to find, this recently erected pseudo-traditional bohemian restaurant with its nice name "cup of poison"; located in a "průchod" (passage) between Vodičkova and Jungmannova with a nice, covered patio in front of it; traditional - depressing as usual in Praha - meals are offered at very moderate prices and - attention - 3 different sorts of the specially brewed "Pražské bahno" ("Prague swamp") beers, besides the inevitable P.U., are available. Good for a short break in the "commercial" centre of Prague - and if you are not satisfied - the great P.U. watering hole, called "U jelinku", is just a few steps away.......

Just a little bit south of the touristic center and still in Prague 1, you can find this place in between two alleys.
Nice place to sit outside, even with bad weather since it has it’s patio covered with a strong tent-a-like sytem.
Inside it’s nice and has a pretty old interrior looking kind of appearance. food is good: I had a spicy goulash and I really liked it.
And of course you can find the Pražské Bahno beers here. specially and only brewed and available at this pub. The beers are also pretty tasting and are served in those typical 50cl mugs.
Prices are normal for Czech standards.
So if you are in the neighboorhood get a good pint of their exclusive beer with a nice goulash meal.
