Groovy spot on trendy Ballard Ave. Small but nice selection of taps. Mostly locals with two of their own. Cool place, friendly staff.

Great little place. When I visited it was quiet--a great place for a conversation. The service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive, friendly and knew her beers. They have a good selection of some very interesting beers which I haven’t seen elsewhere. I did not try the food. Prices were reasonable. I look forward to visiting again.

didn’t get to spend a lot of time here but agreed on what others have said. Decent beers, nice service and a very friendly atmosphere. Would like to spend an afternoon here.

Good choice of both their own and interesting guest beers. Urban Family 1885 was good and hoppy. Another good pub in this part of town.

A very cool space executed with great taste in food, beer, and decor. I wish their own beers showed a little more pizzazz, but everything else about the place is awesome. If you can find parking nearby, you pretty much have to check it out. It’s one of those classic Ballard shoebox-shaped spaces, long and narrow. There’s a porch swing hanging in the window, hence the company logo. There are lots of interesting old filament-style light bulbs everywhere--clearly of modern manufacture, but old-fashioned-looking. Don’t care about light bulbs? That’s cool. Read on. There are a few tables and chairs, brick walls, cool custom art, a big old bar, and two huge flat screens listing the beers--UF’s and guest taps. The place smells awesome...the food is really good. The staff are super friendly and outgoing. Past all this, you find the brewhouse; you walk through it to use the restrooms. Past all that, there’s a patio out back, with picnic tables and lovely fresh air. We had the "winter minestrone," which was like a chili or chowder version of minestrone, and delicious. I had the spicy meatballs, which were commendably spicy. Both of these came with great chewy bread. The guest taps were interesting and well-chosen. The house taps were beautifully made, but so overly polite as to be almost without any flavors or aromas. If they can muscle up the recipes on their own beers, this will be a destination spot for beer lovers (and anybody else).

Great place in the Ballard neighbourhood with 20 or so taps of many seasonal and even one-off taps. Excellent service with reasonable enough prices. On the particular night I went, Lost Abbey / Port was well-represented, as well as an Upright one-off and The Bruery seasonal. Definitely recommended if in the neighbourhood.

Another nice addition to the Ballard craft beer bar scene. Prices are reasonable and the tap list always has plenty of quality offerings.

Very nice spot on Ballard Ave competing with a hip neighborhood. Friendly vibe, definitely a beer bar but very cleanly presented. On the day I was there one of the most gorgeous tap lists I’ve ever seen. Then sat out on the back patio with communal picnic tables. Awesome

A really creative beer list; bartenders, who can read body language; soccer on TV; spacious and great for people watching, as it’s located on a very lively strip. upd: there are three sandwiches on the menu; you can bring your own.
