60 Strange I never reviewed this properly. Basically, it shares the same tiny square as "Kantun", with side-by-side patios and complements "Kantun"’s mostly Croatian selection with a string of foreign beers - the dark Kozel on tap is the crowd favorite for example. Nothing too wild, but appreciated in a beer desert that Split until recently was. Quite larger than its neighbour on the inside, nice enough. Until the end of 2012, it was a significant beer place by local standards. Since the opening of Mali Flek / Dva Tona, that might’ve diminished, unless they expanded their selection too. Will revisit and rerate accordingly. |
66 A cool pub with nice music (rock&metal) located on a small square in Ghetto, innermost center of the city. Complementing perfectly with neighboring "Na Kantunu", with above average offer of various beers mostly foreign (Czech, Belgian, Irish). Regular prices for a central location, friendly and efficient service and really a nice interior, parts of which belong to the original walls of Diocletian palace from the turn of 3/4th ct. Not a particularly good beerplace for rb standards, but locally it is. Recommended. |
