Very good food, awesome patio (only reason the ambience gets the score it does), supposedly a good/different brunch, and pretty decent beer (at best). It’s got nice, albeit short little list of foreign beers. I really liked the food. Desert crepes were very good as was all of the food.

Small place, cozy and intimate interior, bunch of outdoor tables. Extremely friendly staff. Not much of a beer selection, handful of mass produced Belgians. Tasty food. Come on Bastille Day for the French maids race, and enter if you like.

Not too impressed with this french joint except for the patio seating was nice. I had some hoegarden and it was pricey, they didnt have the same selection that acrdz showed, it was basically belgians but nothing rare. Walk across the street to the beer store there if your looking for something good.

Located on the NW corner of 18th and U, it’s not a far walk from the Dupont Circle Metro stop. Has patio seating outside, you’ll see the Delirium umbrellas from about a mile away, and inside it has a small cafe feel, with only minor pretension. Waitstaff was great, they knew their jobs, and they knew their customers too. The beer list is quite good for a restaurant, and to tell the truth, I couldn’t find some of the beers at the local stores. So, while the beer list doesn’t have anything rare, it is quite good if you don’t want to eat at a beer bar or brewery and still would like to drink well. I ordered the French sausage (spicy) and goat cheese crepe, while my wife had the roasted peppers and goat cheese. For around $10 you get a medium sized crepe with a spicy dressing on top and a salad on the side. Prices are a little high, portions are not small but certainly not huge, but it’s worth dining here to relax away from the tourists and undesirables. Tuesday evenings their Belgian beer is 1/2 price.

Beers include Chimay Red/Blue, Stella, Liefman’s Kriek, Delirium Tremens/Nocturnum, De Koninck, Hoegaarden, Kasteel Tripel, Kronenbourg, Leffe Blond and Maredsous 10.
